THE PRAIRIE SUPER BERRY
Haskaps (also known as “Honeyberries”) are long, deep-blue berries that taste like a mix of blueberry, raspberry, and wild fruit.
Botanically and nutritionally, they’re their own category entirely. They’re naturally high in antioxidants, cold climate hardy and harvested earlier than most berries in Alberta. We grow haskap berries because we believe they belong here.
Like most Albertan farms, we started with a dream.
We started with one goal: restore the land while growing something truly special.
Today, our farm is home to thousands of haskap berry bushes grown using organic and regenerative practices—built on soil health, biodiversity, and long-term stewardship of the land.
If you’ve never heard of haskaps before, you’re not alone.
They’re often called the “açaí of the north”— while they are blueish, they’re not a blueberry.
Haskaps are a unique northern superfruit: tart, rich in antioxidants, and one of the first berries to ripen each season in Alberta. They grow especially well in cold climates like ours, making them a perfect fit for prairie farming.
